How to prepare for your first yoga class
» Wear comfortable clothing to allow for freedom of movement.
» Refrain from eating 2 hours prior to class. If you must eat, enjoy some dried fruit, nuts or a healthy bar. Stay hydrated.
» Refrain from wearing strong perfume or cologne in order to respect others sensitivities.
» Yoga is about the exploration of the self with a high level of introspection. Release the competitive mindset and keep the focus on your mat.
» Please let the teacher know of any conditions that could affect your practice. Ask questions and let the instructor know of discomfort or pain.
